What Does A Vendor Do?

The role of an ISDRA vendor is to assist the contractor in off-site permit sales (both weekly and seasonal) throughout the season. This allows visitors to buy permits before they arrive and comply with BLM rules and regulations. As a vendor, you can help make the permits available for purchase prior to arriving to the dunes, thus avoiding congestion at the Buttercup and Cahuilla Ranger stations.

Many ISDRA permit vendors report seeing sales increase as they become known as a “one-stop for it all” location for a visit to the dunes. Everything at the ISDRA starts with the purchase of the permit.
